Tracy Guzman
Associate Director of Family Support Services
Tracy is a New Jersey native who received her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University. She moved to California after graduation to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer and never looked back. Tracy received her master’s degree in social work at San Diego State University and has continued to pursue her passion in working with people with intellectual disabilities. Tracy has more than 25 years of experience supporting people with disabilities and has proven to have an unwavering dedication to the field of social work. Tracy prides herself on having a passion for helping people overcome seemingly insurmountable predicaments and is always ready to stand up for and provide support to people who have difficulty advocating for themselves.
With TMI since 2006, Tracy began working at TMI in San Diego as a Social Worker in the Family Support Services department supporting its Resource Families and foster youth. In 2008, Tracy moved to the Temecula area and launched the Assessment and Intervention Services (AIS) program out of TMI’s satellite office. She has been the Program Coordinator and lead Social Worker for the AIS program ever since. Tracy attributes her long-standing career at TMI to the passion and belief she has in TMI’s mission and in all of the genuine, altruistic, and supportive services it provides to the community and its clients.
