David Cross

David joined Toward Maximum Independence in March of 2015; he is a proud San Diego native, and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technologies. With over three decades of experience, he has held various positions in Cox Communications Inc. in San Diego. His roles included more than 10 years in the Information Technologies Department, three years as the Manager of Commercial Playback Operations, and seven years as the Manager of Commercial Video Production. David also has nearly a decade of experience as the Director of Information Technologies for the third largest Indian Gaming Casino in Southern California, The Pala Casino Spa and Resort in Pala, CA. In his role, he managed and oversaw 18 separate Pala Casino facilities, including the Administration Building, Fire Department, Security Department, Water Department, Boys & Girls Club, and more.

David is an esteemed Apple Developer, well-known for creating and owning the innovative medical app, Surgical Drain Logger. This state-of-the-art application is designed to simplify the process of logging surgical drain fluid levels for post-operative individuals, especially those recovering from mastectomies and other surgeries requiring surgical drains. The Surgical Drain Logger App has received widespread acclaim, boasting an impressive 4+ Star Rating and a large user base spanning across the globe.

Aside from his impressive technological accomplishments, David is also recognized as a Professional Drone Pilot, displaying his expertise in aerial operations. Furthermore, he is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and takes great pleasure in supporting the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Chargers as a devoted fan. In his leisure time, David finds solace in listening to contemporary gospel music, smooth melodies of jazz, and talk radio.
