Tara Ramirez recently joined the Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) El Centro office and is already making an impact in the lives of our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). As an Employment Solutions Division Manager, Tara is overseeing services offered for our clients both at their employment or volunteer sites, as well as remotely. The pandemic has presented many challenges, but our amazing employees have stepped up to ensure that our services continue to the best of our ability. With Tara on board, we are confident that our clients will continue to succeed!
“Knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of the clients that we serve is what I love most about working at TMI,” said Tara. “I feel very proud of the work that we are doing to empower our clients.”
Tara, who was drawn to TMI by the impact that we are making in the community, hopes to use her experience to create additional opportunities for TMI clients to showcase their individual abilities.
“Tara is a true example of hard work and dedication,” said TMI Associate Executive Director Jessie Campbell. “Her amazing workplace attitude helps her connect with clients and staff. She came into her position hitting the ground running with instant success.”
In her free time, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children and three doggies. They love the beach, watching football, enjoying a good movie or having family game night. Tara greatly admires her husband Jose, who encourages her every day to be the best version of herself. She lives by the motto: “She believed that she could, so she did.” - R.S. Grey.
And we believe in you, Tara! TMI is thankful to have you on board assisting us with transforming lives. Welcome to the TMI family, Tara!
