Corona Integrated Work Group Honored

Updated: May 15, 2019

Corona Integrated Work Group

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) would like to congratulate one of our outstanding Integrated Work groups in Corona. Miguel, Ezequiel and Geraro “Beto” were recently honored at the Moreno Valley City Council for their volunteer service at the Moreno Valley Salvation Army Food Pantry and Senior Center on behalf of the Family Service Association. The group helps in the kitchen and serves 60-70 meals to seniors Monday to Friday. The group also washes tables, sweeps the dining area and performs other duties as needed. They, along with their parents and Job Coach Isidro Mendoza, were thrilled for the group to receive the award and recognition. Congratulations to all of you on a well-deserved honor!

An estimated 1 in 6 people are born with a developmental disability. Just like you they are born with hopes, dreams and the drive to contribute to society. Since 1981 Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) has transformed thousands of lives by providing assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities, giving them the ability to realize their hopes and dreams.
