Red, the color of love, was the signature color at the wedding of Alberto and Leslie. On May 14 Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) client Alberto married his high school sweetheart, Leslie, and what a celebration it was! Surrounded by friends and family, the couple danced the night away at Imperial Hall and created memories to last a lifetime.
With support from TMI's Integrated Work program, Alberto volunteers with Meals on Wheels in the South Bay three days a week where he verifies that the meal orders are correct against the order slips before delivering meals to seniors in the area. Along with his peers and job coach, Magda Tejeda, Alberto brings a little bit of sunshine to those he visits who aren't able to get out of their homes very often. Leslie's new husband is a man with a big heart! From all of us at TMI, we wish Alberto and Leslie a wonderful life together and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for them!
