Refer A Consumer

We call to the people with developmental disabilities we serve "consumers" of our services. This helps us avoid some of the common pitfalls regarding labeling people with disabilities, and thus we can avoid referring to them by their disability or with words that imply that they are not full-fledged adults capable of working and living independently.

If you are interested in referring a consumer, you may contact our Associate Executive Director Louanne Miller. She is knowledgeable about all of our services and will, after learning about the consumer you wish to refer and their current service needs, where at TMI to direct you and/or the consumer. It is our hope that all referrals of consumers to TMI will be with the consumer's knowledge, consent and agreement to pursue services through TMI.
